TikTok star Destanie Armstrong, who has almost 70,000 followers said she packs two packets in her hand luggage – of cup noodles.
“You can’t depend on these flights to have food and even if they do, a lot of the times the options aren’t food,” Armstrong said on TikTok, according to The Sun.
You are, of course, allowed to take snacks on board planes, and it could save you a lot of money if you’re on a budget flight where you have to pay for food.
You can pick up packets of cup noodles for just over $1 at supermarkets.
Then, you can just ask cabin crew for some hot water to make them.
You might have to bring your own plastic or wooden fork though, just in case.

Meanwhile another airline flight attendant told passengers the number one way to survive long-haul flight.
Her number one tip is to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water.
“Keeping hydrated is the best way to minimise jetlag and helps to combat the dry environment of the aircraft cabin,” she said.
“It can help bringing your own drink bottle onboard and having it refilled regularly – just ask your flight attendant.”
Meanwhile, if you want to make sure you really get what you pay for on your next holiday, these flights are the best value for money, a survey found.
