This one is in excellent condition and fully original. This is outstanding versatile microphone featuring cardioid, omnidirectoinal, and bi-directional polar patterns. Originally designed as the
MK13
tube microphone in the late sixties, by 1979, the body size was reduced and the output was changed to a solid-state design. A few "in-between" prototypes do exist, however, with the smaller body type and a tube in the housing. Outstanding microphone for capturing woody-sounding acoustic instruments and certain vocalists. This microphone was made in in Tula, Russia, home of the Kalashnikoff rifle.
Only 1000 was made. Almost impossible to find on the market.
