7 Fine Luxury Bavarian Rosenthal Gilded Ivory Dinner Plates

Description

Presented is a set of 7 gorgeous Rosenthal dinner plates done in an ivory color. The rim is decorated with fancy raised gilding in the form of swirled leaves over a wide cobalt blue border. The inner rim is edged with a gilded border with raised designs in flowers and geometric designs. Denoting the high luxury these plates represent, even the footrim on each plate's underside is gilded in  gleaming gold! These elegant plates were made in the early 1900s, perhaps the 1920s or 1930s.
The underside is marked with the Rosenthal mark, Rosenthal and Bavaria, and the number 6047 followed by the number "3.". This pattern is very similar to Rosenthal's Dynasty pattern or 2396 pattern.
The set is in excellent condition. The gilding is in great shape. The plates have few signs of very light use. There are no cracks, no crackling, no breaks, no splits and no repairs.
The plates measure 11 inches in diameter and 1 inch high.
The plates weigh approximately 9 lbs and 3 oz (4168.5 grams).
