    Hunting Setter Dog
    Terra Cotta Smoking Stand
    Circa. 1900
    This beautifully intricate terra cotta smoking stand features a Setter Hunting Dog just after the kill of a wild boar. The dog and boar are wonderfully detailed, with their hair and physical features expressed. Behind the dog is a three openings modeled to look like foliage. It is decorated in relief with ferns and cattails. The whole smoking stand is glazed in relief so that all the details stand out in contrast.
    Size: Base is 8.25 long and 6.34 inches wide on the bottom. The piece is 6.34 inches tall from base to top of the dog.
