Neat vintage Cream colored Whimsical Ceramic Ashtray with hand colored scene of Man smoking a Pipe, leaning against a tree in front of a cross, marked:
In Memory of Sam.
The sign reads:
DREAMER
I dreamed that I died
and to heaven did go
I rang the bell gaily
and bowed very low
I said I'm from Colorado
my how they did stare
come right in said Peter
Your the first one from there.
Back is marked: Carlton Ware Made in England Trade Mark. Also impressed 175C.
Novelty Souvenir Ashtray Condition is excellent without damage and no discoloration. Great coloration. Some light glaze crazing present.
